Embrace the crazy

Life can get pretty crazy. My life is absolutely nuts right now.

Crazy can be good and bad.

Things at work are moving really fast, which is good.

On the flip side, my personal life is crazy bad.

I mentioned in an earlier post that my condo got flooded. While we were preparing to move to a new house. And while we were getting ready to rent the condo.

We’re closing on that new house in less than a week, and there’s a ton of stuff we need to do before and after then.

Oh, yeah, we’ve been living in a hotel for three weeks while contractors repair the condo. And those contractors seem to be taking their sweet old time with those repairs.

And we have no idea whether we’ll have to move back to our condo first or directly to the new place.

Lots of crazy moving parts.

But although many parts of my life right now are absolutely frustrating, I am embracing the crazy, because there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

At work, the crazy is hopefully going to lead to a couple of closed deals.

In my personal life, we are going to close on our house, get the hell out of this hotel, and eventually move into our beautiful new home.

Embrace the crazy and everything will work itself out.

How do you embrace the crazy? I’d love to hear from you. Write your thoughts in the comments, tweet at me @mikewchan, or email me at mike@mikewchan.com.
